Professor F. Richard Walters [ Mail ] [ WWW ]

Richard F. Walters, Ph.D., is a professor of computer science and
medical informatics at the university of California, Davis. He received
his Ph.D. from Stanford in 1957 and came to Davis in 1967 where he was
placed in charge of the use of technology in medical education. After
chairing the newly founded department of computer science between 1983
and 1989, he returned to his interests in technology support of learning.
OpenRCT is a direct outgrowth of this research.


Thomas P. Amsler [ Mail ] [ WWW ]

Thomas P. Amsler, BS/BA, is the project manager and lead programmer for
the OpenRCT project. He completed his BS in Computer Science and Engineering
at UC Davis in 2001 and a BA in Economics at UC Berkeley in 1999.
His responsibilities are to design and to develop OpenRCT and to supervise
students working on the project. Mr. Amsler was born in Switzerland and has
lived in California since 1994. He can be reached at tamsler@cal.berkeley.edu.
